Mr Gordon Chan is pleased to receive a Special Award in the 2023/24 Recognition Scheme for Provision of Pro Bono Legal Services for contributing over 50 hours in pro bono services.
This is the second time for Mr Gordon Chan to receive this award. Apart from participating in free legal advice schemes, Mr Chan also made pro bono legal representations in cases of exceptional circumstances.
The Chief Secretary for Administration’s Office operates the recognition scheme to commend and encourage legal professionals who dedicate their time to the community. Individual awards commends lawyers who have contributed no less than 30 hours, while special awards commends those who contributed more than 50 hours during the period.
